Photographer/Leader/Educator/Consultant
Amanda Pitts has been working in the field of Photography in some capacity for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Photography (minors in Business & Sociology) and her Master of Science in Communications from GVSU. Amanda worked at a portrait studio after college, and then as a photographer at GVSU for over 16 years. She is now an adjunct professor of photography, and is dedicating more time to her family and her photography business.
In her spare time, Amanda likes to spend time with her friends & family. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, camping, and cuddling with her two cats and dog. Her other hobbies include: event planning and hosting, promoting autism awareness, researching useless things on the internet, consuming funny animal and parenting memes & videos, growing things in her garden that she doesn't like to eat, and photographing pretty things.
